Lyell was our broker when we bought the property at 55 Dashner Drive and he become a friend as well as our broker. He was very professional & knows the business very well he had all the faith that he would get us the best deal as he did when we purchased the house. If anyone asks about needing a broker always refer them to him. He is absolutely sincere & doesn't act like a normal salesman in the sense that he doesn't just tell you what you want to hear also there with important info you need to hear and eager to find out something if he isn't sure of the answer.

You could call him or e-mail him and if he was busy with another client he would let you know & get back to you as soon as he could otherwise he responded immediately to any form of communication. He is someone after you meet him for 5 mins you feel as if you had know him all your life, like a old dear trusted friend.

From the day we talked to him about listing it he was already working on his advertising set up so when we actually signed to paperwork that evening the very next morning he had all his ideas in motion. It wasn't even 2 days and we had people interested in our house and he was always in touch with us with anything we might need to do to help sell it.

We originally came to know Lyell via a property we found through realtor.com that he had listed. We went to see the listed property and the place wasn't a fit but Lyell was. Of all the real estate agents we had talked with, he was the ONLY one who understood what we were looking for and sent us properties that fit the bill. Making a purchase long distance (1300 miles away), was not easy. I spoke with 4 different realtors in the process of a long internet search for properties that looked like they may be what I was looking for. At the time, Lyell seemed to be more interested in finding out what we wanted, and patiently looked at all the properties I forwarded to him, making recommendations of his own also.

Finally arriving in Vermont, Lyell went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, and to make sure we saw all the things we had chosen to see, even offering to set up appointments for things completely out of his area, that he was not able to show himself. In a short period of time there was a huge effort on his part to accommodate us. By that time he knew what we wanted and I believe he knew which property would work for us, (he was right))).

The last two items are marked not important, only because they were not relevant in our situation.

At every step of the process, Lyell worked well with us to make sure all things were happening properly and expediently. From email recommendations to finding local businesses, to the closing, he worked with us all the way. My wife and I were both thankful to have someone as helpful as he was. A great amount of effort was put into helping us. I would recommend Lyell without question, and thank him for all he did for us.

I met Lyell Reed when I contacted him about a property he had listed. While that property did not prove to be what I was looking for, I was impressed with Lyell from the start and have used his services in the purchase of a couple of other properties. Lyell really knows everything about the properties, their history, the area, etc. In addition, he truly seems to put the customer's interest first and is never pushy about a property that is not right.
